As Sugar Creek Packing Co strives to become a world class manufacturer for national brands and private label customers, we continually upgrade our manufacturing technology. Some of our latest technology includes LASER SORTING of bacon bits to remove foreign material; slicer technology in our RTE strip lines that enables us to manufacturer to meet and exceed our customer expectations; and an X-RAY SYSTEM that allow us to remove bones from fresh chicken parts. These are only a few examples of what we have installed over the past 12 months.
Sugar Creek's SLICING TECHNOLOGY in both raw and RTE are excellent in the industry. With high speed lines, our slicing technology helps to capture the growing needs of our customers for precise piece weight and count regardless of the specification. These slicers help to capture maximum yield which translates to a better value for our customers.
Sugar Creek Packing Co. has many options in EXTRUDING PRODUCTS. While we do not process millions of pounds of bologna or hot dogs, we do manufacture many products through extrusion. Our process is more "artisan" in nature while also taking advantage of full line production. Our smokehouse capability and our use of natural smoke benefits our customers by addinga unique flavor profile to our products.
Sugar Creek Packing Co. uses a VARIETY OF COOKING SYSTEMS to manufacture their fully cooked products including oil bath, microwave lines and impingement ovens. Our impingement items are unique as Sugar Creek targets higher end products on this line creating the deep color and flavor profiles that our customers demand.
PACKING is another important area for both Sugar Creek Packing Co and our customers. We have many packaging options including retail single stand up pouches to 35 lb bulk packages for our industrial customers. We use many types and sizes of vacuum and gas flushed packaging machines, vertical form and fill machines and overwrap machines. Our capabilities in this area are excellent, and we take great pride in fulfilling all of our customers' requests in this area. |
